Peter Whitney is a main character on Prime Video's Overcompensating. He is portrayed by Adam DiMarco.
Character Description
Peter is Grace’s campus-legend boyfriend who looks out for Benny.[1]

Peter was born to two teachers who taught at the all boys school he attended. He claims they are not rich.

Physical Appearance
He is a tall, muscular guy with dark hair and facial hair. He has brown eyes and an angular face with a pronounced jaw line.
Personality
Peter is shown to be a self centered narcissist frat boy most of the time, yet we see a softer, more insecure side when he is alone with Carmen and Grace. He acts overtly macho and seems to want to impress the guys around him. He often feels less then and inferior, as seen when he gets told that he will not work at the bank he has dreamt of.
He is also a player, and cheats on Grace while in a relationship with her.
It is also seen that he has been diagnosed with depression as Carmen finds antidepressants in his cabinet.

Grace Scanlon
Peter’s girlfriend who loves managing Benny. He depends on her for a lot of things, and calls on her to run errands for him constantly. He puts his achievements and dreams above hers, and acts selfishly in their relationship. She eventually breaks up with him, which makes him feel alone and insecure as she was his source of constant praise and status.
Gabe
The alpha best friend of Peter and fellow member of the prestigious F&G secret society.
Benny Scanlon
Grace’s younger brother, a closeted former football player who Peter looks out for. He encourages Benny to pursue women and act like him.
